There are TWO Ways to Login to your Live Meeting Classroom.
You choose what is easiest for you!

Direct Link Method
(using direct Live Meeting login link)

  1. Go to www.ewitraining.com.
  2. Login
  3. Click on one of the courses you are enrolled in (on the left under “My Current Courses”). If you’re not enrolled in any courses yet, click on one of the colored icons on the “My Training” page, then enroll for a course.
  4. Once you are enrolled for a course, you will have access to the Live Meeting link for your class. It’s under the “Live Meeting ID” on the Course Information page, and it is added as a resource that you have access to once you have enrolled for a course. Look for “Live Meeting ID” in the course resources. (Most Help Sessions do not use Live Meeting.)

PIN Method
(must know the PIN for your course)

  1. Click Here
  2. Use your class participant PIN (for your teleclass) as the Live Meeting ID.
  3. Leave the "Entry Code" blank
(do not enter anything in this field).

If you are using Windows 2000 or higher, and Internet Explorer, everything should run very smoothly. Make sure you watch for warning bars and other messages while Live Meeting installs necessary components.

Need More Help Connecting?

When you first try to connect to a class, you will be prompted to download and install the client (software) you’ll need to join your instructor online.

The following browsers and operating systems have been proven to easily work with Microsoft Live Meeting:

Internet Browsers:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox

Operating Systems:

  • Mac 10.4 or higher
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 and higher

If you are not currently using one of these browsers or operating systems, you are highly encouraged to upgrade. Otherwise, we will do our best to help you connect through the instructions that follow.

What software do I need?

You will need to download a simple component to join your instructor online during the live presentation. Most students will have the option of downloading one of two versions:

Office Live Meeting Client (windows-based client)
The Windows-based meeting client is a full-featured Windows program that is installed and run from the end user's computer. Office Live Meeting users with Windows-based computers should use the Windows-based meeting client because it offers features that are not available with Office Live Meeting Web Access. You will need to download and run a 15.8mb file in order to install it.

Office Live Meeting Web Access (web-based client)
Office Live Meeting Web Access (MWA) is an alternative for users of the Office Live Meeting service who cannot install or run the Windows-based meeting client, usually because their computer runs an operating system that is not compatible with the Windows-based meeting client, such as Microsoft Windows 98, Sun Solaris, or Apple Macintosh, or their PC is locked down and do not allow installation of new software.

For Macs

There are software programs you can install on your Mac that allow you to run Windows-based programs. These programs basically simulate a Windows computer, and will allow you to install and use the Live Meeting Client. This is the best option for Mac users. Here are the 2 software programs we can recommend (based on our students' feedback):

  1. The first is called Parallel Desktop (by Parallels) .
  2. The other is called Boot Camp (by Mac). (More Information on Boot Camp may be found here.)

If you can't intall either of these programs, and have an older Mac, you will need to join your classes using the web-based Live Meeting option.

Firewalls

If you still cannot connect, and have the preferred operating system and web browser installed on your machine, it's probable that your firewall may be blocking your access. Make sure you add the following domains into your "allowed" or "safe" list in your firewall program:
